Seiko is a very cheerful and energetic girl! One could easily mistake her for a cheerleader. She is extremely positive and optimistic, and even during tense moments she is always the one who is looking on the bright side. As you can imagine this sort of attitude can clearly clash with others, especially when all seems lost. She can be a bit too upbeat sometimes. And it would also be unrealistic to say that Seiko never gets depressed - indeed, there are a few occasions where the severity of her situation at Heavenly Host almost causes her to have an emotional breakdown. But Seiko is the kind of person who can bounce back quickly from such setbacks. She is just very positive, and she tries to pass along the positive feelings whenever she can, especially to her best friend Naomi. She cares about how people feel, even though her feelings for Naomi appear to go beyond simple friendship.

Seiko was killed by Naomi. Seiko was hung in a girl's bathroom stall. And in Heavenly Host, a haunted elementary school that exists on a plain of multiple dimensions, anyone who dies has to live for the rest of eternity reliving their deaths. Over. And over. And over. Your existence in the real world is erased. All that is left is pain.

It wasn't Naomi's fault actually. Naomi was none the wiser about what had happened until later. Both Seiko and Naomi had a fight moments before, and they split up. During that time Naomi was possessed by the Darkening, an evil energy that lives off of suffering. It made her lure Seiko into a bathroom stall and hanged her. Naomi only remembers after the deed was done, when she stumbles back into the bathroom to find Seiko hanging. Naomi suffered an emotional breakdown when she found herself unable to save her best friend, and when she finds out, Naomi's pain was beyond words. It doesn't change the fact that she killed her best friend. She hanged her best friend, and any normal person would have thought the worst of her.

But Seiko forgave her.

In fact, Seiko is the reason why Naomi found her way out of Heavenly Host. Naomi was on the brink of insanity, but Seiko chose to help her best friend by sending the last text message she ever tried to send. The message was titled "No Hard Feelings", and Seiko kept sending it from the grave. Over. And over again.

THAT is how much hope she has. That is how much she cares. And if she gets upset or mad at anyone, like her best friend Naomi, well, she doesn't stay that way for long. The only way to get on Seiko's bad side is to either threaten one of her friends or to take the disappearance of her mother lightly, the latter of which happened during her fight with Naomi.

It's perfectly natural for her to put the feelings and health of others before herself. Perhaps this is because Seiko, for all of her peppiness, is quite mature. Even though she is only sixteen, she acts as a mother for her three younger siblings when her mother suddenly disappeared. She was the thing that kept her family together, so it's only natural that she is sensible and motherly to her friends, especially when they need it.

Lastly, on the subject of friends, Seiko is a very, um, affectionate person. She generally likes to see people smile and likes to play around with her friends. She can get very touchy-feely. She can and will grope you. And she will act innocent when confronted about it. Catch her in a good mood and she'll tease you, as it is not unusual for her to use phrases like 'dat ass'. And she tends to save the most special gropes for Naomi.

Seiko is a caring person though, don't let her silly attitude fool you. And if you got a booty, it's cool, just don't turn around when you're next to her...
